Fava Bean & Arugula Crostini
The delicate, nutty flavor of favas makes this appetizer taste as good as it looks. I recommend using a thin baguette so the crostini are bite-size and can be popped into the mouth whole (to avoid spillage). If making them for a buffet, you can arrange them in a flower pattern of concentric circles with a few sprigs of mint on the platter’s edge. When I make it, I make enough extra to spread on a slice of buttered sourdough toast and devour!
